Cassia is an epidemiologist who is focused on cultivating optimal patient experience and engagement among the safety net population. With an adept ability to understand and leverage nuances of data, she informs solution-based interventions resulting in improved processes and outcomes.
As the Practice Transformation Consultant at Elevation Health Partners, Cassia supports projects from concept to execution, including: Azara familiarity and investigation, HEDIS/P4P programs, care transformation, behavioral health integration, quality improvements, implementation science and research. Cassia creates cohesion within project teams and often collaborates with internal team members and safety net providers across Michigan and California.
Cassia’s roots are in metagenomic and epidemiological research and she has experience with public health communicable disease investigations around vaccine hesitancy in minority groups. She applies this experience, with her growing knowledge of health policies and community-driven interventions, to her everyday approach to decrease health disparities by addressing underlying social drivers of health (SDoH).
In addition to her role at Elevation Health Partners, Cassia cares deeply about personal wellness in all aspects of life. Cassia is an avid yoga practitioner and loves to read and write. She enjoys exploring the world in her free time and discovering new things.
