Ellen is a public health professional passionate about driving positive change through data-driven quality improvement initiatives. She possesses extensive experience in ensuring compliance and quality improvement for various programs, including Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) ACO reporting, Vizient, Leapfrog, Department of Health Agency requirements, and Joint Commission standards.

As a Senior Practice Transformation Consultant, Ellen will leverage her expertise and years of experience to support the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within practices. Currently, she is a practice coach for the PQCI project, directly working with practices to implement strategies to improve patient care.

Ellen excels at conducting audits, managing data, and implementing new protocols to guarantee adherence to meeting guidelines. She previously consulted ACO practices on quality measures and workflows, demonstrating her ability to translate complex regulations into actionable steps. Ellen also brings experience in the ambulatory setting, improving HEDIS measures and collaborating with health educators to develop standardized workflows for clinics.

Ellen possesses a strong background in data management, tracking performance, and cross-functional collaboration. This allows her to create informative dashboards, reports, and summaries for leaders and stakeholders. With a proven track record of optimizing processes and driving results through data analysis, she is a valuable asset to any quality improvement effort.

Ellen holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, San Diego. She is further equipped with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, Just Culture certification, and comprehensive patient safety training. This diverse skillset allows her to approach quality improvement from a multi-faceted perspective.

Outside of her role at Elevation Health Partners, Ellen enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
