Mikayla brings years of experience and a diverse background in health education, community engagement, and community health program development. With a passion for systems-based approaches, she leverages her strong foundation in public health to help organizations design sustainable strategies for navigating complex healthcare transformation processes.

As Practice Transformation Engagement Specialist, Mikayla is known for her ability to engage healthcare practices, foster productive partnerships, and design solutions that align with the evolving needs of both healthcare providers and patients. Her passion for intervention-based work and advancing community well-being continues to drive her success within the company. Currently, she liases between tranformation coaches working primarily on the Partnership for Quality Care Innovation (PQCI) project and their practices. Her expertise in data-driven decision-making, community needs assessment, and quality improvement has made a significant impact on the effectiveness of our programs.

Prior to joining Elevation Health Partners, Mikayla served as an administrative and education liaison at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health where she developed educational strategies, and collaborated with internal and external stakeholders to assess community health needs from communities historically impacted by medical mistrust.

When she's not in the office, you can find Mikayla attending Los Angeles Kings hockey games with family and friends, singing and dancing, and facilitating 1:1 health and wellness coaching sessions with her own clientele.
