Steve is a problem solver who has a proven track record in leading and implementing both IT and clinical initiatives. With over 10 years of experience bridging the technical and operational divide at health plans, Steve has deep expertise in population health operations, project/program management, process improvement, software development, and operations sourcing. He has supported the state's Equity Practice Transformation efforts from both the health plan and the program office perspectives.
As the Senior Manager of Technical Operations at Elevation Health Partners, Steve manages technical projects and serves as a subject matter expert in PMO operations; driving innovation by exploring and implementing tools and strategies to optimize operational efficiency, increase systems integrations, and maintain high standards of service for the transformation team and stakeholders.
Steve is a certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Agilist (SA) from SAFe and Project Management from UC Davis.
Steve is an award-winning landscape and architecture photographer. Outside of work, he is busy either maintaining his inventory of vintage posters, buying old books he doesn't have time to read, in the garden, or out lost in the Eastern Sierra. He and his partner have a son and a daughter along with two bully mix dogs, Melman and Atticus.
